SYDNEY boxer Edgar Wymarra will fight Fijian journeyman Pita Taburaua for the World Boxing Federation Asian Pacific junior middleweight title at Yallah Woolshed tonight.

Wymarra comes in for Wade "Pit Bull" Clout who was to have fought Taburaua over the scheduled 12 three-minute rounds, but had to withdraw with an arm injury sustained in his unsuccessful tilt at Garry Comer's Australian title in Sydney last month.

Box-O-Rama Promotions principal Ross Clout said yesterday Wade had been fighting a losing battle to overcome the arm injury and had to pull out.

In three six-round contests on the undercard, Bellambi's Damien James takes on Guyra's Mick Porter, Sydney's Jungstar Min fights Queenslander Wayne Maynard and Sydney-based Fijian Jamal Khan goes in against compatriot Waisale Ratu.

Queenslander Martin Eastham will fight Sydneysider Tim Relf in a four-rounder.

Interim world super middleweight champion Danny Green will be a special guest at the event.
