Patient Uate Makes Mighty First Impression In Loss

WHEN Knights rookie Aku Uate made his long-awaited and much anticipated NRL debut at Toyota Stadium on Saturday night, the number on his back matched his age. Although he missed a tackle that led to a Cronulla try and the Knights went down 16-13 in another thriller the 20-year-old Fijian flyer showed flashes of brilliance and brawn and scored a try from Jarrod Mullen's cross-field bomb five minutes before half-time.
